01 / A DIFFERENT WAY TO WORK

Your device.
More possibilities.

A new project shouldn’t have to mean a new PC.

Disanchor is exploring another way to work with the device you already have: a Linux PC in the cloud that opens in a desktop browser, with nothing to install.

We plan to offer two performance options after validation. Supported browsers will be published after testing.

Disanchor · Your PCConcept
  • Your own PC

A familiar Linux desktop in a browser tab.

  • Your saved environment

Your apps, saved files and settings together.

  • Nothing to install

Designed to open on the device you have.

A SPACE THAT STAYS YOURS

A PC to return to.

Your installed apps, saved files and familiar settings. We’re designing a personal environment you can come back to and keep working in.

  • Apps

Install supported Linux apps once and find them next time.

  • Saved files

Work you save stays in your environment between visits.

  • Settings

Your desktop keeps the setup you chose.

Continuity means keeping your saved environment. It does not mean restoring unsaved work or memory after shutdown.

02 / THE EXPERIENCE WE’RE BUILDING

Connect.
Make it yours.
Come back.

  1. 01

    Connect to your PC

Accept an invitation, get your own PC and open it in your browser.

  2. 02

    Make it your own

Install supported Linux apps, bring your files and work in a familiar desktop.

  3. 03

    Save and pick up later

Save your work and shut down the PC. Return to your saved environment next time.

This is the planned experience. Supported environments and terms will be published after validation. See the product overview →

FROM THE DEVLOG

Notes from the build.

  1. BUILD NOTES

Early November: idle PCs, files and your edits

We’re teaching a PC to notice when nobody is using it, moving files in and out, and keeping your own edits when the assistant resumes. All in local development.

  2. BUILD NOTES

    Checking the assistant’s work

We started measuring how an experimental assistant handles everyday tasks on a local Linux desktop. So far, its mistakes teach us the most.

  3. BUILD NOTES

Late October: build notes and a new community

What changed since we chose Linux: email sign-ups, a local desktop experiment, preparing a small first test and a new Discord community.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

A few questions.
Honest answers.

What is Disanchor?

Disanchor is a personal Linux Cloud PC service in development. The goal is to stream its screen and audio to a browser on your existing device and control the PC directly. It is the same product previously called DirectN, now known publicly as Disanchor.

Can I use it now?

Not yet. Disanchor is in development and internal testing, and early access is not open. Join the waitlist below to hear when invitations are ready. Joining the waitlist is free and does not guarantee access.

Which devices are planned?

We’re prioritizing desktop browsers on Windows, macOS and Linux, with nothing to install. Supported browsers, devices and network requirements will be published after testing. Mobile access and support for every device are not currently promised.

What happens to my apps and files?

The goal is to let you install supported apps and keep your saved files, installed apps and settings between visits. Supported apps are Linux apps; software that runs only on Windows is not available. This does not promise compatibility with every app or include software licenses. Backup, recovery, file retrieval and retention policies will be shared once validated and confirmed.

Are pricing and performance confirmed?

No. We plan to validate two performance options and provide clear usage and spending limits. Specifications, pricing, terms and measured performance will be published after validation. No plans are currently on sale, and no performance figures are guaranteed.

Where can I follow progress?
