Updated, 2026-10-29: the product description below now reflects the first version, a personal Linux PC you open in a desktop browser. See Starting with Linux.
A familiar PC holds more than a list of specifications. It holds the software you’ve learned, the settings you’ve adjusted and the project you want to pick up tomorrow. Recreating that environment takes attention away from the work itself.
That’s the idea behind Disanchor: keep using the device you know while working on a personal Linux PC in the cloud through a desktop browser. The goal is a place for your supported apps, saved files and settings to stay together between visits.
Saved work and running work are different. Returning to your environment after shutdown should not be confused with bringing back unsaved changes or a program’s memory. We want that distinction to be easy to understand.
Our principle: make continuity part of the PC experience, and explain its boundaries clearly.
